6 Incredible Women Sparking Joy In The Great Outdoors

Women are making a big impact in the outdoor world. Whether hiking, camping, or traveling the country in a van, they inspire people worldwide to follow their dreams and embrace the benefits of nature-based living.

Here are six incredible women sparking joy and spreading positivity in the great outdoors.

1. Jenelle Eliana

Jenelle started out making content in the van life space with her pet snake, Alfredo but has since moved on to creating content from her rustic home near the California coast. She recently adopted a giant Great Dane named Tullulah, and she is so cute!

What I love about Jenelle is her youthful exuberance and determination to live life on her own terms. She’s gorgeous, funny, and endearingly quirky to boot!

2. Quin Gable

Quin Gable is known for her van life photos and videos which typically feature her hiking and hanging out with her cats, Otto and Atlas. Unfortunately, Otto passed away from cancer recently, but Quin and Atlas are still going strong in his memory.

I admire Quin’s easygoing personality, great solo van life content, and her willingness to be open with her followers and subscribers about her personal experiences. If you love hiking cat videos and seeing idyllic destinations, you’re sure to enjoy her content.

3. MotherNATEur

Nate, also known as MotherNATEur, is a van lifer/car camper who shares upbeat, lighthearted videos of herself doing everyday things like cooking, organizing her van, and styling her hair.

She has a great sense of humor and doesn’t shy away from showing the less-than-perfect side of van life (which we don’t always get to see on social media). Her content is a breath of fresh air in the outdoor space.

4. Christian Schaffer

Christian is a corporate manager turned full-time photographer and van life content creator. Her stunning nature images have led to major brand collaborations and features in various publications.

She is the quintessential ‘solo female traveler’, as most of her videos show her traveling alone to scenic and remote places. If cinematography and photography are your thing, I highly suggest you check her out.

5. RiRang OnAir

Kim Yi-rang, better known as Rirang OnAir, is one of my favorite camping YouTube creators. She lives in South Korea with her adorable kitties and camps at various campsites and wilderness areas near her home. Her videos feature her setting up camp, preparing a homemade meal, and feeding the homeless cats who call the campgrounds home.

Rirang has a calm, sweet personality that draws you in. I especially love her winter weather camping videos where she creates a warm and cozy environment inside her tent on snowy days.

6. Renee Roaming

Renee is an Australia-born outdoor blogger and photographer on a mission to encourage and inspire people to get out and fearlessly explore the great outdoors. Many of her travels feature U.S. National Parks and global travel hotspots.

Her aesthetic is a total vibe, so if you’re a newbie hiker or aspiring photographer, be sure to check out her blog. I promise you’ll learn a lot!
